ARMM Programs

Citizens CARE’s program entitled, Strengthening Election Process through Voters’ Education and Election Monitoring in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (SEPVEEM) is being implemented in the entire region of the ARMM. It has three primary modes of intervention: Pulong Tayo (grassroots voter education sessions), Ugnayan Tayo (local election stakeholder meetings), and Bantay Tayo (election monitoring activities). To successfully implement these major activities, Citizens CARE will continue to collaborate and engage government line agencies, local and international organizations in its network. IFES has been assisting Citizens CARE in building its officers, staff and member organizations’ capacities in developing voter education and gender sensitive training programs and materials.

IFES continues to support the efforts of the Citizens Coalition for ARMM Electoral Reforms (Citizens CARE) as it spearheads voter education and domestic election monitoring efforts in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM).
