Chyn San Juan has been with IFES since 2004 during the International Observation Mission in the Philippines called Consortium on Electoral and Political Processes Strengthening (CEPPS). She has been involved in the Technical Assistance projects with the Commission on Elections and Civil Society Organizations like the Citizens Coalition for ARMM Electoral Reforms, Consortium on Electoral Reforms, Transparency and Accountability Network, Lawyers League for Liberty, Pera t Pulitika, LENTE (Legal Network for Truthful Elections), the Center for Media Freedom and Responsibility, National Union of Journalists of the Philippines, and the Philippine Judicial Academy. Prior to her involvement with IFES, Chyn was with the Department of the Interior and Local Government, a Congressional Office, and the Cultural Center of the Philippines. She is educated at the University of the Philippines where she is presently completing the Masteral program in Public Administration.
