Garie Briones is currently a Project Coordinator at IFES Philippines where he provides support and assists in the management of programs. Prior to joining IFES, he was a researcher at the University of the Philippines where he was involved in the conduct of training programs and policy issues briefing for civil society organizations and government agencies. He has also served in various capacities as technical staff and/or facilitator for local as well as international conferences/seminars. He has written published researches/case studies on such topics as health and poverty alleviation and public service leadership, among others. He earned his bachelors degree in Political Science from the University of the Philippines, Diliman.
