Melody Cacas is IFES Philippines Sub-recipient Specialist. Prior to joining IFES, she worked on various USAID-funded projects. She served as a Project Accountant for the Rule of Law Effectiveness Project (ROLE) which provided technical assistance for Philippine Judicial Reform Program and promotion of awareness on human trafficking. She also worked as Finance and Admin Officer for the TB-LINC Project, a health project which aims to lower the number of deaths caused by tuberculosis and its complications by fully educating every Filipino about it. Melody worked as a Contract Assistant for the Energy and Clean Air Project (ECAP) which is a response to the Philippines need for sustainable energy development and improved environmental performance. She also worked as an Accounting Assistant for the Local Enhancement and Development (LEAD) Project, whose prime strategic objective was to promote a desirable family size and achieve a sustainable life. For three years prior to her work with NGOs, she worked on private corporations as an auditor. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Adamson University.
