Leabel M. Jordan currently holds the position of Office Manager/IT Administrator at IFES Philippines. In this dual role, she ensures the office systems and procedures run efficiently, manages and maintains the IFES-Philippines computer network systems and assists in the development and maintenance of the IFES-Philippines website.
Lea has been involved with administrative work from 1997 to 2005, serving as a Secretary to the Project Manager in the CIDA-ISP II (Canadian International Development Agency-Institutional Strengthening Project Phase II) of the National Commission on the Role of Filipino Women (NCRFW). Through her eight years of experience with the company, she gained exceptional skills in organizing, interpersonal communication, customer service, and building relationships. Because of her familiarity and exposure to event organizing and administrative support, she has held positions in various USAID-funded projects. She served as Project Assistant in 2006 for Local Enhancement & Development (LEAD) for Health Project. Her involvement with USAID projects continued when she joined Linking Initiatives and Networking to Control Tuberculosis (TBLINC) and Millennium Challenge Account Philippines Threshold Program Technical Assistance Project (MCA-PTP-TAP) as an Administrative Assistant. She also worked with the Chemonics International as Human Resources Assistant, overseeing the HR needs of their permanent employees and consultants. Prior to joining these USAID projects, she served as a Training Assistant for Women s Actions for Gender Equality. She earned a bachelor s degree in Computer Science in 1997 and has obtained academic units in Masters in Public Administration. Lea now continues with her goal to acquire more knowledge by pursuing a second degree in Accountancy.
